Hydrocarbons

Hydrocarbons
are organic compounds with molecules consisting of carbon and hydrogen atoms. Hydrocarbons form homologous series, members of which are characterized by regular changes of chemical and physical properties, by general formula and initial structure. Hydrocarbons occur in nature in gaseous, liquid and solid phases.
